We've all heard it before...good things come to those who wait. Little did Bri'Zan Bride Michelle know her wait would be 7 years. As the story goes, life happens and sometimes relationships don't spark the first time around. But when Michelle and Sean finally reconnected, the rest is history! Help us wish Mr. and Mrs. McNee's a happy wedded life.

How did you meet? Sean and I reconnected two years ago on Facebook; after meeting in 2011 at a local bootcamp. The chemistry was there form day 1, and the last two years have been amazing! Sean proposed on Christmas Eve 2019, and we had our wedding 9/5/20.

Best advice for dress shopping: Try on all the different styles, even if you think you know what you want to go with! I came in with ideas, but ended up buying a very different dress then I would have imagined! Also, the bridal consultant makes a huge difference ... for me Alice made the experience amazing and she was extremely helpful during the entire process!

Best advice for wedding planning: Get ready for the most exciting and stressful process! I would recommend not getting the opinions of others unless really necessary. Make the choices reflect you and your spouse! Once you have your plans set, ask others for help... but don’t let them try to influence you to do things their way! And most importantly try to have fun with the process. It is really all worth it... my wedding day was the best day of my life!!! Thank you for making me feel like a princess!
How did you personalize your wedding? We personalized our wedding my having a personally choreographed tango dance, followed by dancing the twist. We had our wedding party walk out to the Game of Thrones theme song; and I walked out to the Pretty Woman theme song! Best day of our lives!!!
How did you pick your wedding color? Purple is my fav color... and especially Lavender. And we were both born in February, for which amethyst is the stone (obviously that’s more important to me than to Sean ) Sean’s custom suit was made by a tailor in Lisle. Lavender suits are hard to find as we learned!
Photographer: Xcite “I would highly recommend them to your local brides!”says Michelle.
